Ari Hussela crosses the finish line of the 2021 Vendée Globe
It took Hussela (Race Time: 116d 18h 15m) an additional 36d 14h 31m to finish in 25 place behind Yannick Bestaven (Race Time: 80d 03h 44m), but both are winners. Thus the race around the world is complete for this year... Congratulations to all 33 skippers and teams who started the race.

The Vendée Globe race is run every four years, this was the 9th time...
The fastest run race was the 8th in 2016–2017 where Armel Le Cléac'h skippered the Banque Populaire VIII to the win in 74d 03h 36min... The "slowest" winner was the 2nd event in 1992-1993... Alain Gautier in Bagages Superior with a time of 110d 02h 35m. C...
