Years ago I got a 10 cm nail into a new rear tyre - and did not notice it till the next day, when my girlfriend saw it sticking through the side wall of the tyre! 😬 Immidiately changed it - too much risk for me.

I should probably change it....

but its now been on a number fast and sporty back road rides so I think its safe. Sidewall would be a no brainer. Where this thing went in the rubber is the thickest and the tire had barely worn through its oily stage.... so, very new and quite thick... r...
