happens to be my favorite filmmaker of all time, so the fact he did his version of an Ali biopic makes it that much sweeter! His sensibilities, both literary and aesthetic, resonate with me the most. Besides, Will Smith just happened to be at a perfect mo... 

Will Smith was well athletic enough to personate Ali. The atmosphere in the movie is trademark Michael Mann. I like nearly all his movies.

It has a bunch of the footage that Michael Mann and Will Smith looked at to emulate for Ali. It is brilliant - mainly because it is the original "actors"

admires Ali. He actually inspres me basically every day looking at a painting that he signed that is hanging on my wall. However I also think about that back in the mid 70's when I lived in the US I can't think of one living american that was more hated t... 

However his actions in the ring always redeemed himself. The Atlanta opening ceremony was a very touching moment.

We had dinner in their mess hall while Tyson was getting ready to go out. Everyone else was gone so it just happened to be me and him. They grilled steaks. He was wearing an olive green suit I think.

When Ali was boxing against Spinks to regain the title for the third time the legendary Howard Cosell commentayed the fight. Towards the end but before it was over it was clear that Ali would win, suddenly and totally unexpected Cosell began to recite Dyl...
