Reyn Spooner did such a nice job amalgamating several of the old Clipper travel posters into its "Trans Pacific 40's" shirt. I love this shirt, and, truth, be told, have several of these. ;-)




While we're at it, Tori Richard also pays homage to that era, as well:

Last weekend I was in NYC to attend the WatchTime event, which was fantastic. On the way home, I built in some extra time at LaGuardia, so that I could visit the Marine Air Terminal -- the terminal used for the Pan Am Clipper flying boats starting in 1940...  

Wow! That´s wonderful Jim!! What a beautiful place! I will try to visit this marvelous place in my next visit to NY!!

Hawaii was reached by PanAm Clippers - in the Thirties and Forties before we lived there 60 years ago. I was amazed to read no more than 25 were built, including Sikorsky, Martin and Boeing versions. Cazalea ...

I always enjoy the Pan Am memorabilia shots you do with your Master GMT. You must have quite the collection! Incidentally, I still have a smaller version of that bag as a memento of traveling on Pan Am as a boy in the 60's. ;-)
