Then you must accept that some people think as you do, and some people think as I do

So when you write something that you would not say in person, you must accept that some people will view your written words in the same context as if youโ€™d said that to their face. While you may not agree with that, it is most salient to be aware of it.

A liberal society provides a long rope to all discussions and encourage humour at its cost! A rigid and conservative system is neither conducive nor healthy to any creative idea or intercourse. Just my 2 cents.... Regards

I respect this choice, for as long as YOU are fine with that.

As far as I'm concerned, if a post is made in jest, I am not offended in the least. In fact, I often enjoy it (as I did with your recent posts). The fact that other members have shown to be very sensitive to the content of the other thread, for as long as...

Fab, I think a golden rule is always ask yourself whether youโ€™d say it in person

 By: NickO : May 25th, 2020-08:17
For example, I own two Hublots. Would you walk up to me at a cocktail party, look me in the eye, and say โ€œHey Nick, I think your Hublots are over-priced high-end Invictasโ€. Those were exact comments Pun made. If you would, then itโ€™s game on, go for it. Bu...

Dear Sir, I'm sorry if you took otherwise but I beg to differ.

I don't say many things that I can say while writing in a time-out column. There is a difference in the location sir and we all must appreciate that. Regards

Yes I accept that some people may think as you do.

And they might take offense at that. I still believe that one must take the position from which the dialogue is initiated in order to understand the spirit behind that, only then it would be taken in proper context. If it's at a place where lighthearted t...

Nick, nobody should treat you (or anyone else) disrespectfully here, or any different than they do in person. We are all in complete agreement with that.

However, I have no problem with a meme or post that is obviously made in jest -- be the subject Hublot, Rolex, or Patek -- and I view these as very different things. Some members have enjoyed these memes Pun posted, while it was clear that you and a few o...

Dear Sir, locking that thread wasn't an extreme step taken too soon? The "contentious" word should be interpreted with a good elasticity on internet..

I like to play little mischievous as that provoke otherwise dormant emotions in others, and that's good for us. Releasing catharsis in healthy way is a major benefit of our forums or blogs. Normally if there is any issue, a moderator must inform the parti...

Pun, I have (mostly) taken your side in this story as far as your memes go, even if I wasn't necessarily involved in the conversation.

 By: FabR : May 25th, 2020-09:09
However, I'm not going to litigate here what any another mod has decided to do. Also understand that there can be details or developments that you don't necessarily see in public, and for which a quick action might need to be taken. This moderator's call ...

I see some childish treads. I know Pun for awhile, and i think he do not want to hurt us or any watches. It is good to tell him the rules. Everybody make some mistakes at some times. I hope we can go on at normal behavior. Enjoy WPS the way we know. Regar...

My wifeโ€™s Datejust is a perpetual calendar!

Because Iโ€™m the perpetual calendar fairy who changes the date for her at 11 pm on the last day of February, April, June, September and November. The watch also magically adjusts to daylight savings time in March and November.

Yours is an unique piece dear...

Keep it in safe. It's meant to go at Phillips de Pury to go under the hammer to beat Daytona record. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‚
