Thanks GEO.

I agree. I truly enjoy writing and reading handwritten notes in cursive, particularly from a fountain pen, and even more with a flex nib. Of all the modern pens I have used, the Pelikan M1000 nib is my favorite for ‘modern flex’.

Would love to see a pic or two of your pens, too.

Spent some time cleaning my Pelikans last night. Now I want to write! The first 3 of you to PM me with your address will get a handwritten letter from me, but it may take a couple of weeks before I sit down to write. 🤓 ...

Very nice line-up of beautiful birds 😉

I enjoy writing with them, despite my poor penmanship.

Beautiful pens!

Let's be pen pals! Mine are mostly from the other German brand of pens. Thanks for sharing this photo... Now... Maybe you should write down your secrets to how you smoke, BBQ, and grill different kinds of meats!

No smoking lately (of any sort), sadly.

I gave my smoker away went I went two summers without using it. As much as I enjoy the results, the time required for wood smoking is significant, and I have no interest in quicker/easier methods.

Ahh! Hmm...

Having bough to MB Writers series FPs and a starwalker BP I wanted to really get into the hobby but alas it just wasn’t for me. Nice collection - I can relate to it

If I didn't collect watches...

I think collecting (fountain) pens would have been a worthwhile pursuit.

There’s room for both! :-) [nt]

Hmmm...

Maybe give some others a try? MB pens occupy only one small corner of pen geekdom. (Same with Pelikan.). But there is a whole world of makers out there, many of the one man operations, and an unimaginable number of amazingly beautiful resins, and ebonite ...

Great line up 👌🏻

Seems to me that a lot of Watch collectors also like pens . Me included 😉

What are your favorites? [nt]

Both browns are actually M800s. I think perspective makes one look bigger in the pic. The one on the left is the Grand Place and the one on the right is the Renaissance.

that Brown Marbled M200 is gorgeous...

Beautiful collection of Pelikan's

I am not a pen collector but do have 4 or 5 pens of another brand, no not Cartier, that I use almost on a daily basis. Writing with a fountainpen gives a lot of style and the result looks so much better than a note written with a ballpoint. GEO

Thanks GEO.
