Unfortunately, one of my In-Laws has Dementia and this forces us to fly. To say I am worried would be an understatement.
Given a choice, I would drive the 1200 miles in a heartbeat. Of course, taking 4 of us (+ a small dog) in a car for that distance, one with Dementia, is not appealing either.
I was hoping that there would be a lot of empty seats on the plane, but alas, we are headed to the Midwest (USA) from Florida. That is normally a very busy route this time of year.
Regarding flight cancellations, we were originally set to go on May 11th. in the afternoon, but the Airline canned that flight and put us on a 7 AM plane the next day. That would never work for my crew. LOL
With the reduced flight schedule, the only really good, non-stop offerings were this weekend.
Thanks, and keep safe. I'll let you know how it all works out.
All the best... HEO
