on that Margaret Atwood quote? And that Nabokov quote about thinking in images, makes sense... language being a learned / cultural skill. Listening to music would also be at a different level. Casey

Nabokov is dead-on....

with that statement from my perspective. I always felt considerably more inclined to visually arranging and contextualizing stories than using a plethora of spoken/written words in any language to communicate my viewpoint. That always imbued me with confi...

I remember a Hunter S story about traveling across the Pacific to Hawaii

 By: cazalea : May 30th, 2019-15:54
Think back to time when aircraft bathrooms were stainless steel and the poo went into a holding tank rather than being sucked out into the atmosphere. Now the story begins. and I paraphrase from memory: H S T went to the loo, and somehow clumsily dropped ...

Thanks (?) for the story Mike...

is a quote from André Breton (1896 – 1966), a French writer, poet, and anti-fascist. He wrote the first Manifeste du surréalisme (Surrealist Manifesto) which defined surrealism as " pure psychic automatism "... in spite of all that, I like the quote ; ). ...
