Solaris is a science fiction classic! Great movie! Many consider it the Russian '2001: A Space Odyssey' and I agree. It was remade in 2002, staring George Clooney--not bad but can't touch the original!

But it is now my favorite version. Man... just too good. Solemn and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing that. Thanks for the Gilels as well, he is always fabulous

Very mature articulation and phrasing for her age. I only hope that she survives the pressures of being so great at such a young age. It would be a blessing to hear more of her as the years go by.

I am definitely going to watch it then, the holidays are coming up and I will have the time to spare.
I don't understand the language but I've never watched the dubbed version. I'd rather deal with subtitles since I think it would probably lose something if not watched in its native language.
If you enjoy movies like Solaris and 2001, consider watching Moon, from 2009.
I have friends who watch Korean and Japanese shows
And they always just read the subtitles. I agree that something is lost in the dubbed versions.
