The navy makes a nice frame for the central green area.

I prefer the blue frame

but I’m not sure how you apply shoe polish to those without Messing them up? (Sorry for being so practical in this)

The second.

The navy is more subdued in more visible portion of the shoe and the green adds a fun contrast.

First for me.

Spectator shoes are always great fun, but this would not be my choice as a first pair of Spectators.

 By: remarque : April 9th, 2019-20:45
From Wikipedia: The spectator shoe , also known as co-respondent shoe , is a style of low-heeled, oxford , semi-brogue or full brogue constructed from two contrasting colours, typically having the toe and heel cap and sometimes the lace panels in a darker...

I would keep C&J's Swansea model as an original

If it was to be then variant 2. Are you ordering them as an personilation from Crockett & Jones?

Not brown laces but black ones for the examples shown.

Also not the combination of blue and green. All black or all brown brogues. If you must have colour variety, then tan and mahogany or light and dark tan.

I love two tone shoes

I wear black for formal events but brown, tan or two tone for everything else. Number 2 would be my pick. Slacks cover the green insert while standing but once you sit down the wow factor emerges. ...

Thank you gents for the valuable inputs !

To answer to a couple of questions, this pair would not be my first pair , the black , brown and tan options are already all covered . They’re made by Crocket&Jones bespoke and as I was playing with colors and options I came up with this unusual combinati...

I think you found a great balance between the special color combination but avoiding to go over the top. Nice taste, my friend. Daniel

I really like the C&J Pembroke

 By: Boris : April 10th, 2019-08:21
I own this model in the classic tan scotch country grain leather. A great option for a casual urban look or a weekend in the countryside. The colour options you are choosing are a lot more playful, and like the idea of a spectator on such a traditional lo...

Two different fashion statements

 By: vicunaman1 : April 10th, 2019-08:46
Both very attractive, though I would like the 'double sole' on the two-tone only. The black should have a 'lighter' sole to keep it more serious and dressier.

Just realized that they are both two tone

#2 is my favorite

I prefer the 1st...

Blue shoes with green accents? Or green shoes with blue accents? My rule of thumb for fashion and decorating is to reserve 'funky' for accents.
