have you seen Infernal Affairs? Parts 1+2 are among the best I've seen in the genre. Best shot I'm coming up after a Michelin starred, home delivered dinner, and drink to boot

It is cold and rainy in NY. Nothing to do EXCEPT list your three favorites. 1. Three Days Of The Condor (This is simply, one of the best movies spy or otherwise I have ever seen...the NYC I grew up in and one of the most realistic fight scenes) 2. The Bou...

I remember seeing 'Day of the Jackal' in the theatre when it came out years ago...

...haven't seen it since, but I do remember that it was pretty good...very 'gritty.' If you like these types of movies you must read Len Deighton's books, preferably in order. He spy stories follow an family for generations....excellent books.

Love them...

Here are 3 I liked and watched at least twice: 1) The Tailor of Panama 2) The Man from UNCLE 3) Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy I enjoyed Johnny English and Get Smart too, but these are not serious spy movies, but spy comedy. Kingsman is nice too, but it is not...

Saw all of them

Le Carre is a tough one...read most of his books but they don’t always translate well to the screen...ironically I love Brosnan in almost everything BUT Bond.

I'd like to reserve the right to

participate later tonight or tomorrow but your selection is quite excellent I think. I love the Cinema of Paranoia, hence 3 Days is one of my favorites anyway. Cheers Marc

In no specific order

- Where Eagles Dare (spy story during WWII, impressive action scenes for that time) - Three days of the condor ( spy story at its best, double cross, killers, conspiracy). - The Manchurian Candidate (brainwashing and conspiracy)

Forgot about Manchurian..

That just bumped In From The Cold...a masterpiece and also one of the best fight scenes ever...Sinatra broke his finger in that one..saw Eagles Dare in summer camp...can’t miss with Eastwood...and once again Burton.

Honorable mentions..

English but obviously there's nothing greater to see than Michael Caine in Get Carter. Which, incidentally, is nowhere near being a spy movie. But one of my top ten. Cheers Marc

Just watched
