I have them in black. I waited for the Max to be revealed and when I saw them I immediately bought the H95 instead. The crappy case, cheap stretch nylon material everywhere and absence of power management of the Apple phones were all disappointing for me. The H95 look, sound and feel peerless.

B&O makes one of the best audio/video stuff with super nice designs and no compromise in quality...
I love the brand and at one time, they seem quiet and lost but it’s coming back. As with other AV mfg, they may suffer from the TV segment with the huge price erosion and with more TVs getting better and affordable.

Mine have often failed after only a few years of use.
The portable home speakers have been atrocious!
Thankfully their warranty system is efficient and they replaced stuff straight away. The sound system has served me quite well over the years without any trouble thank god !
Yes, they're normally pretty good with their warranty.
I haven't had too much trouble. But the stores are franchised, and the local store I worked with went out of business.
I am old timer, have a pair of BeoLab1s, their sub BeoLab2 and BeoLab3....they last forever.
Many times I tried convincing myself to get their TV systems but the price is .... hard to bear. I just don’t see myself spending that $ on TVs which I can get for sub $3k which is good enough for my eyes.

My only worry with the M4s is the plasticky feel of it
like most mainstream headphones. Wish Sony incorporated the same technology to a better case. Nevertheless it has been an industry leader and kudos to that.
As usual great sound is compromised with relatively bad designs and outside execution.
With B&O, Apple and other lifestyle brands it’s the other way around - form follows function. But that’s because they want to appeal to the masses who appreciate better sound but cannot overcome their need of a luxury feel. Brands like Sony, Beyerdynamic ...

On the back of the success of the Mark4s, I wonder why Sony hasn't done a more premium version of the headphones.. No doubt there would have been a market for it.
I think this is a rather complex topic... the market might be there, just not for the brand “Sony”.
We can see similarities with watches. Do people rather pay ten grand for a Rolex or for Grand Seiko although the latter is superior in terms of execution? Lots of psychological aspects to consider. All in all it’s pretty precedent that one superiority com...

Used them for the first time on a 5 hour flight two weeks ago, fantastic in my opinion. Just ordered a second set for my wife.
