For sure, my newest Montblanc is from 1998 I guess.

Huge fan of vintages especially the 139, but I don't have any. Indeed a hard job to find vintages in very good original condition. A lot of luck is needed here. My humble approach is to get good modern interpretation (homage) of the historical pieces.

There are some simple but beautiful pens ... especially the "homage" pieces of the historical issues. Montblanc did a good job in the early 90s indeed. ...

Beautiful pens

what about the dragon

I used to have a golden dragon from year 2000 ...

The solid gold dragon with a pearl in the mouth ... the dragon is just too heavy and Montblanc even applied black paint to create a filigree effect in the tail part. It's an impressive pen, yet with too many design issues that I don't like. I like the imp...

👍👍

The snake is perfect. It's simple, functional yet uniquely artsy

After seeing your other post with the Lorenzo de Medici I don’t know why I was absolutely certain that…

…you would come out with other pens that we have in common and I am sure these are not the only ones… And your pics are incredibly nice too, we obviously share another passion also Mine are saying hello! ...

WoW

What I can say is wow! I like all your pens shown here and also the watches! Just recommended a friend to order the Laurent Ferrier, an exceptionally beautiful watch. So happy to share same passion with collectors of similar taste ...

Haha! You also have the set fountain / ball pen

We really have a lot in common ! Without knowing each other there seems to be many that we both have ! To be honest I am much less after the more recent series, I highly prefer the limited series of the 90’s or even real vintage ones like the 136, 138, 13...

By the way, have you noticed that the surface of Hemingway, both the plastic body and the metal parts, are treated in a very special way.

They show a rather rough matt surface. I didn't like the treatment in the very beginning, but after more than a decade's ownership, I can now much appreciate the beauty of this "rough" feeling.

And, the Hemingway!

I like the sleeker designs on these models. I bought the black version a few years ago on a broad nib at a very good price, but regretted the nib choice as it is too broad for daily use. I should have gotten it on a fine nib.
