I don't have any official data, but I would be very surprised if it was so simple...For sure, as you say, Serie A should become 22 teams if they stop now (no relegations plus 2 coming up)...
But then how can you play an even longer season next year (4 extra games), which needs to finish in time because of the European cup? Keep in mind that nobody seems to consider this, but the virus might be again a bigger concern in Fall than it is in summ...
