Ok jumped into the world of LV Trunks...

Hi all, Following many wonderful posts here - I jumped in the world of LV Trunks and purchased a newer model. Would love to get some inspiration on how you use your trunk, and perhaps any ideas on any artwork, accessories, or other creative approaches you...

These types of steamer trunks were once covered with stickers of exotic places visited....

Not sure you'd want to do that but ..... You can even buy vintage reproduction stickers... (google-- reproduction travel stickers) ...

And stickers were messages...

Will look into some of these options. I am wondering if I should consider "painting" or "applying" some things? Many thanks for the advice! Cheers Peter

Try this😁

I actually quite like it as it is to be fair. Could you share some photos of the trunk opened ? To see how the books etc fit Kev

Hi there...

Below are some photos of the innards. I recognise there are several models out there, but this model has a front opening with four very usable drawers, in addition to a top storage space. We chose this one because it just seemed like a bigger convenience ...

I really like the way it opens

I think it indeed for well as a coffee table so long that you don’t need to remove the glass part though It makes the lounge area pretty trendy tho Kev

Put stuff in from all over the world

Excellent inspiration. Many thanks! Peter

Leave it like it is

It looks fantastic, the bronze parts will get patina and the wood becomes darker. If I were you I would not add any stickers. Great purchase! George

Many thanks!

Some part of me is considering to embellish the outside with painted stickers from cities our family has visited...but I think keeping this trunk as pristine as possible is something we are leaning towards! Cheers Peter

How are you liking that Aston?

Sadly...it got traded in for a convertible...

I got pressured by my daughter to consider a convertible! I looked a bit around for a DB11 convertible but found it was too difficult. Ended up trading for a Ferrari Portofino and have not looked back! Thanks for the note.. Cheers Peter

Are you hiding inside the trunk?

Looks nice, slightly too big for my taste but seems to match the rest of your furniture...

Ha ha ha!!

Could be a good consideration - as shared in a previous post could fit a body For this model with the front drawers - it seemed the 110 was the only size available. After having it sit in the home for about a week now, it's settled in nicely with the surr...

Pirate, ships, and treasures

A treasure must be in it. Or an empty trunk? Cpt Hook?
