What’s good first vintage Heuer?

Apr 10, 2021,03:03 AM

So yesterday for once in a long while I didn’t need to work late - decided to watch a movie and by chance I chose Ford vs Ferrari (know in France as - much better titled - Le Mans 66).

So now I’m thinking about getting a racing chronograph, and with my little horological knowledge I figured Heuer will be a good choice. Can experts let me know if there is anything quasi-obtainable at around 5000€, 36 or 38mm and that can be considered as a good first vintage Heuer?

The Camaro is a very nice piece, esp. those with the 3 register valjoux 72 movement. (diff. space between the pushers and crown), and seems to have gone a bit under the radar. Speeking of radar,- marked forces and nice movements,- but in a very different ...

If you can consider the current catalogue:

an absolute classic. And different dial options and even gold cases if you desire. Much better value than a Viceroy. If you like the 70s cushion case, you should consider a manually wound 3 register 73663 where again you have lots of different dial option...

Good suggestion!
