Took these two old boys

out of the bank today. Wind them up and play with them for a few days. They simply get no use anymore, unfortunately. My father used to use them when he'd run rallyes back in the '60's.

Wonder how they handled the shacking and the bumping and if it had some kind os shock absorbing construction. I would have someone do a beautiful wooden stand and use them as a dual desk clock.
