Took these two old boys
out of the bank today. Wind them up and play with them for a few days. They simply get no use anymore, unfortunately. My father used to use them when he'd run rallyes back in the '60's.

Wow they are really well made and beautiful!
Wonder how they handled the shacking and the bumping and if it had some kind os shock absorbing construction. I would have someone do a beautiful wooden stand and use them as a dual desk clock.

found a person who works with salvaged teakwood and rosewood. Hopefully, he'll be able to come up with something appropriate.
I just had no idea what to do with them!
