The Patek-Tiffany collaboration (meaning, Tiffany is allowed to add its signature on some of the watches it sells as an AD) is really different on multiple levels, frankly there's just no relation here ;-)

Patek has allowed select ADs to add their signatures for decades, and is continuing this tradition with Tiffany to this day, which has very deep historical roots. It has nothing to do with contriving a partnership with a watch blog (or a car maker, a fashion website, or anybody else), created out of the blue for obvious financial reasons.
In fact, as I have certainly said earlier on WPS, should Patek ever follow this route -- which I'm sure will NOT happen under current leadership -- my consideration of the brand would definitely change, to the extent I might even stop buying from them (and you know how much I LOVE Patek! ;-)) That Patek doesn't engage in these business practices is, in fact, one of the (many) reasons they are, in my view, the undisputed #1 horological brand ;-)
