As I am working in the space of digital technologies and signal processing, a colleague of mine brought this to my attention purely as a joke…but I was honestly impressed when I saw this!
Looking into it further, I realized that this isn’t a new development, and that other brands like Montblanc have been working in this space for some time. Therefore, I hope that isn’t a sign of horological snobbery that I just found out about Tag. It’s not at all far fetched to imagine the tool watches of the future requiring to have integrated smart technologies as a new standard. Just as Rolex was a pioneer, so it may be again. And don’t date rule out AP and RM taking a stab at this future. Interesting to consider, at the very least.

I actually tried and bought this tag in the golf version and I kept it for two days and brought it back to the store as the battery was only lasting a couple hours if you kept the screen lit up all the time which was a big disappointment compared to my Ga...
