I was very excited when I found out about the carbon Aquaracer, initially. Then when I found out the case wasn't carbon I was a bit less interested, but then I thought 'okay, the titanium case really keeps the cost down and when it's on the wrist most of what you see will be carbon so fair enough'. Then I found out the dial is 'printed' and not carbon at all... I think this is a mistake. For a luxury brand 'effect' is not good enough. If it looks like gold it should be gold, if it looks like diamonds it should be diamond, if it looks (sort of...) like carbon, it should be carbon. Now that I've seen close ups of the dial I'm even less impressed... why is it printed so poorly? The bezel looks fantastic, think how good this watch could have looked with an actual carbon dial. I am so disappointed with this, this is something I could well have been interested in but now... plus, while the bezel is indeed a unique pattern, the dial is exactly the same on all three.
