They enlarge the elapsed seconds scale so it is easier to read a 0-60 time. They achieve this by advancing the second hand in a non linear rate.

Just as the car went from 0 to 100km/h in just 9.1 seconds, so does our second hand. It takes 9.1 seconds to cover the red portion of the dial and recreate that feeling of exhilaration evoked by the acceleration time of the first Porsche 911.

That "911" embossing on the strap is the worse part!

Don't get me wrong, I like Porsches. But that embossing on the strap is so cheesy, childish, the watch is better without it!

It is quite a crazy way of displaying the measure of the seconds with a second hand starting fast and then slowing down to speed up again after the noon position. Totally useless but a nice gimmick.

I actually saw the steel version in the flesh two weeks ago in a boutique that had received a unit ahead of the launch. I found the watch visually very appealling
