This is really tempting. The dial is beautiful and I love the simple and elegant design of the watch.
Sheer perfection

Very convincing, very dapper.
Reference?
By: VinnieD : November 24th, 2019-13:48
I was unaware of this reference... From the crown, I would guess it is a manual-wound, which makes it very desirable: please let us know more, and a picture of the (transparent?) back would be great. Superb choice, Seiko keeps their creative energy at hig...
Thanks Vinnie

This is SBGW255 with a manual wind. Same watch as SBgW231. The only difference is the dial.
Your shot was so compelling that... I took the plunge

The wait is starting now for my first Grand Seiko. Are all the pieces already produced? Did you have it delivered directly? Thanks for leading me towards this direction, I am looking forward to seeing it in the metal
Great you like it
By: mj23 : November 28th, 2019-08:00
Were you able to secure one from an AD? Yes I believe all have been produced and I got mine directly from an AD.
It was booked on Citychain by a local friend
By: VinnieD : November 29th, 2019-00:14
Deposit was 50%. It looks like I got the last one The wait from the other side of the world has just started. I have no clue when I will get it
I believe so
By: VinnieD : November 29th, 2019-07:23
But I have no clue as I have never been there. I am trusting my local contact so far... happy to have secured their last one!
Great.

Show us the photos once you get it!
Thanks!

Thanks my friend

I think I am the one who lost the count of yours. π
Very nice watch.

I never saw this one before. The strap works very well with the green dial.
Here is another one
By: VinnieD : November 29th, 2019-04:07
Which shows the dial appearing much more blue than green image credit: someone on reddit ...
Thanks

Given the unusual shade of the dial, I will need to find a creative strap to go with it. The light grey/beige could be interesting or something between blue and green
I came across it last night by chance

Not bad but with only 150 pieces available, that is pretty low for Grand Seiko and they should sell out soon. Excellent value for money though as it is priced only slightly higher than the SBGW231. A manual winding Grand Seiko in 37.3mm at an excellent pr...
