Then again I had Rolex blnr and Tudor black bay black both with dust particles on the dial! I guess this happens more than we think. Now with Grand Seiko and rebranding they need to be extra careful as they increased prices. Their biggest appeal was quality and if that goes down hill then they have a tough road ahead of them!

Has perfect QC, not to make an excuse for GS, but a buddy of mine has his brand new PP 5960 chronograph button stuck the first time he pressed it.

Seal failure somewhere
Not really a QC issue. Moisture got into the case somehow. Perhaps the gasket used was defective. Hopefully, the case does not have a compromise somewhere.. Good to get it fixed ASAP as moisture will corrode the movement .
