Why own quartz Grand Seikos when they make such nice mechanical watches?

Because they make such nice quartz watches too! Accurate, well-finished, attractive ...



The second hands line-up with the markers ...







So accurate I rarely have to set the time (but of course the date needs adjusting monthly)



(No my watch doesn’t jump in 5-second increments)



Or the day/date ...



And sometimes, not even that!

Agreed. While many here may choose to eschew quartz in any form, here you present three fine examples of well-proportioned and executed timepieces that show off serious

craftsmanship as well as the correct time. My favorite? The first example, which I hereby dub "The Argyle!" LOVE that dial. (I think I've seen it in a few other GS examples; one in blue, perhaps?) A good reminder that one might keep one of these around no...
