White, of course, Mike.

Sorry to be so late to respond but we had company yesterday. And—no stranger to work, yourself—you'll understand that preparing this vegetable garden patch for my wife took some time.

We've had a lot of rain in May, and the rugosa I planted years ago has gone through its first bloom of the season.

Hence, white was on my mind.

The peonies (first pic, my only single) are coming on, so you can expect a few more comparisons as the month progresses.

The black is nice, of course, and would perhaps fit better with our poppies.

But you really can't lose, either way.

In fact, I find this side x side photo of yours very helpful. The Presage has been very popular, but has always looked BIG to me. (Perhaps I've not seen many wrist shots or something.) But your shot puts it in a perspective. I think we all (at least those of us who have a hard time getting to large ADs) could use more of this type of comparison, to get a better idea of the true impact of any particular watch. In any case, thanks for this post. You may have meant it mostly in fun, but there was something important there for me to take away.

Best regards, always.    Fred

What's it going to be today - White on Blue, or Blue on White?

have to agree with Watchlover78. For some reason I find Roman numerals dated. And to be honest most of the time I prefer simple indices over numerals of either sort.

I can wear one of these, then?
