When will Seiko come out with a Kitchen Master watch?
Jan 20, 2022,18:49 PM
There is a Seiko Master watch for almost every activity known to man (ok, not a Bed Master with 7-min timer...). Actually seven years ago I did a post CLICK HERE on the Master series, including:
Cruising Master 7K36
Field Master 2C21, V175, 5M22, 6R15, 7N35
Fishing Master 7A48
Flight Master 6S37, 7T34, 7T62
Jungle Master 7S36
Land Master 5M45, 5M47, 5R66, 7K32 (and others)
Marine Master DH33, 7C46, 7K32, 8L35
Scuba Master 7K52, M795
Speed Master 7A28, 7T62, etc.
Swimming Master (stopwatch and swim computer)
Tune Master (used for tuning your guitar strings … for extra Seiko brownie points)
KITCHEN MASTER
So now I propose a need for a Kitchen Master.
It would be resistant to heat, wet, (and boiling water!),
flour, powders and spices,
citrus/citric acid, hot sauce and wine, refrigerator magnets and microwave ovens!
Until they announce such a watch (sure to be a limited edition), I will make do with my Land Master.
Oh yes, it has to be sticky-resistant to withstand honey, molasses, lard and other substances that cling...
That's yeast in the jar, not oysters.
Suitable for use with stirring and kneading motions of the hands and arms. Perhaps an adjustable rotor weight for stenuous activities?
Oh, and it must be resistant to fermentation (yeast, bread, beer, booze, etc).
What do you all think? Can Seiko build a Professional Series
Kitchen Master for you?
Dial texture to be reminiscent of the softly drifted floud on a rapidly-rising loaf... in the baking kitchens of homes around the globe
Or for amateur cooks a less expensive Presage model could be called Take-Out Master or Order-In Master.
And I suppose it must be resistant to the heat of "Dutch ovens.
