Exclusivity is dead, or almost. And for many years now. With all these brands making variations and variations of limited editions which are not limited anymore...

Many examples can be found with Panerai, with the OOR, Audemars, Omega with the Speedie and even my beloved JLC, with the Amvox line, or the Gyrotourbillon One, the Master Minute Repeater and so on...
On the other side, there are brands who never claim they are exclusive, such as Rolex.
And other brands which are still confidential, such as the Independants. But confidential doesn't mean exclusive. For example, Kari Voutilainen is confidential ( in the production, I mean ) but not exclusive: How many pieces uniques did he make on his references? A lot!
I don't feel betrayed, I just feel informed.
