Turtle PADI on Razor Wire

Jan 13, 2019,15:08 PM

I know it’s not as rare or interesting as some on here, but I love this watch. It really is perfect for outdoor activities, such as skiing here in Colorado! I have mine on a ‘razor wire’ bracelet from Uncle Seiko, which isn’t for everyone, but I think it gives it a rugged look which I prefer to the stock bracelet. I’ve said it before, but in my opinion, its hard to get more ‘bang for your buck’ from any watch out there.

My PADI Turtle gets the most wristtime these days. Moreso than even my Rolex and Grand Seiko!

Please post a photo of the bracelet. It looks very nice from what I can see in the initial photo.

It's an Uncle Seiko Razor-Wire bracelet.

I've never tried one but they do look interesting!

Pictures from the vendor's site: Solid links on either side; 8 thin loops in the middle, divided into groups of 4 and then 2. Look closely and you'll see what I mean. Looks like they cost $80-90 US. Cazalea ...

Thanks!

Tough, waterproof, rugged, yet so beautiful with the blue and red dial! Destined to be a classic, I'm sure.

Time to dig my PADI Turtle out...

Find it definitely a fun watch. I may be in a minority here but I tend to like my watches light, meaning I took it off the bracelet early on and put it on a NATO.

Maybe I buy cheap natos!

Tried it on a nato, but it feels too unstable for me. A thicker nato would probably work, but I haven’t tried it yet. I bought the oem Seiko rubber strap, and it goes very well on that, but I’m still enjoying the razor wire. Will probably put it back on t...

Looks great - just a pity they don't go on my wrist

Really like the look, unfortunately when try one on just doesn't seem to gel - no matter how much I want to like it. Cool watch though. Cheers JML

Not sure if it's a good fit . . .

. . . or, more precisely, an accustomed fit, but . . . . . . I'm diggin' it! ...
