This is the way we receive friends in Paris :-)

Sep 23, 2018,14:47 PM

A few days ago, we had a GTG with a great GS collector coming from Australia.
We could not miss to organise a nice gathering with some connoisseurs at Seiko Boutique Paris.

Here are some pics of this unforgetable evening, with some rare pieces.

This one is a very rare bird, a piece of history. ;-)

The dinner was interesting, with great chat and ... fine french food of course.
As this is a watches forum, I will not post photos of the culinary part smile

Enjoy.

. . . and Cazalea's! Not that any Grand Seikos are common, but these shaped case models from the early '70s certainly don't get much exposure on the forums. Thanks for sharing your Grand Seiko passion with us, gnkt. Best, Art ...

Funnily enough....

How come when an event like a GTG occurs in Paris

 By: reintitan : September 23rd, 2018-21:53
it's like the whole atmosphere and aura gets multiplied by 100X more class? Love the GS watches my friends. That vintage hi-beat GS in the 8th photo, what is the reference may I ask? The GS Grammar of Design is strong with this one! Seiko needs to reissue...

The vintage hi-beat GS in the 8th photo ...

Maybe after the current situation quietens down a little bit I will try to make it happen. I know there’s at least one non-Seiko piece I need to bring with
