Grand Seiko SBGW 267 and 269, with textured silver- and brown dials These look quite nice, I am tempted by both GS should not push their luck though - close to 5K EUR for a non-limited edition, with a plain strap sounds a bit rich even if the dials are wo...

I like the simplicity of these dials

With gas at ~ $5 per gallon here, the prices are “driven” up.

What's up with the dial on the black one. Look at 7 o clock, the fit isn't correct or is it the dome that creates this effect? The original SBGW231 was 4.300 euro. How much is this? I like the silver one. Do they even discount these pieces?

Nice, how do they compare to a DateJust?

I don't understand what's up with the bubbles at 6 o'clock and 3 o'clock. Look between the dial and bezel.

Probably the inscription at 6 o'clock being reflected through the crystal

I don't see anything at 3 o'clock. ...

This. I read a story recently on TRF from an owner of a SBGW231 and he had issues with the watch (I think something similar with bubbles between the edges) and Seiko couldn't resolve it. ...

Those are reflections…case polishing is extremely top notch…

I’ve had an earlier version of 231…impeccable well done.

Me neither, I had no issues with my SBGW255

but the Monochrome pictures are worrying...

I don’t like it at all…sorry

there is no date, no mention on dial on being ‘manual’
