I was more struck by an official Seiko video on youtube
Which describes the Eichi II as "Japanese Simplicity". Seems like a very direct reference to the watch that inspired it. I'm coming around to the Eichi II as a future purchase. I wanted haute horology and I think this watch will fill the role perfectly.
