Seiko

Some of you will know that Seiko is a material part of my collecting, one of three main brand themes and one of four overall themes. In terms of number of single brand watches (in my collection) vintage Seiko would be #2 for me. In terms of emotional conn...  

And worth collecting for many reasons including being the less famous one as well as that wonderful seconds hand. I love it! Kent

This and the other (mostly non diver) vintage Seikos give me great pleasure. Far more than their dollar value would suggest.

My 6105 below a little rougher than your excellent example. What are your thoughts on the citizen dive watches of the same era. ...  

And it’s interesting to think about. For whatever reason if one says “watch” and “Japan” the immediate thought for me is Seiko. Not Casio, G-Shock or indeed Citizen. And so I have never given Citizen any thought. The merits of the watches from the say era...
