Thanks it is surprisingly nice in the metal. And yes it’s the new Snowflake. Same structure as the first titanium Snowflake but with a blue hue.

Not to say really really nice. It could be an issue with the thickness for a smaller wrist. Almost 13 mm. It sits well though. It is light as well despite being ss. Maybe try a similar sized GS for her to see if it’s OK if you still can’t find it in the UK to try.

If I had to be a Grand Seiko it had to be very Japanese. Finishing of the hands and hand’s edges and indices are amazing and helps legibility a lot with ss against the snow blue dial. Precision is quite stunning. Like all GS’s.
Congratulations!

Beautiful piece! This is the new “sky flake” right? My partner has her eye on it since I showed her some photos when it was first announced. Need to see one in the metal but not too many in London yet. BW, Chi Kai

I think it is a stunning piece in pictures but I need to “feel” it. I haven’t been able to see it yet. I want to dip my toes with something less fancy also but frankly I’m sometimes confused by all the models.
