Story about blue watches? Yes, there's a story (WARNING thread detour on Blue watch theme)
Yes, the story is I used to have a much more generalist view of watch brands. And for awhile I had a fascination with blue dials - I think that was after the fascination with moon phase watches. And titanium cases. But I digress.
I have had several Citizens
because truly their eco-drive system was the first trouble-free, battery-free power system.
Then I fell for this stupid blue dial AND moon watch, which took forever to buy, receive AND sell. It only took a couple days to get tired of it.
The very best of the lot was THE CITIZEN, aka Chronomaster, which at the time was arguably THE MOST ACCURATE quartz watch on the planet
(maybe it still is, but I have fallen off the High-End-Quartz wagon).
I had great fun taking pictures of this before I sold it. I can't really fathom why I did - a silly feeling that I was accumulating too many watches, perhaps.
The last one is just the coolest blue watch -- the seller said list was $400; he paid $200 and sold it to me for $100 all within two weeks.
It had one of the worst bracelets on record which I ditched and replaced with a blue strap I had kicking around my strap box. Viola - a winner for my beater watch drawer.

PS Some of my other blue-theme watches will appear shortly ...
