Some pictures of the Skyflake.

I have always been fascinated by the Spring Drive technology but it was finally the release of the "Skyflake" that won me over.
Now,after a long wait (more than half a year) my AD finally received the watch and I could pick it up this week.
It is in reality even more spectacular than on pictures.
Here some impressions:
Dial perfection has a name : Grand Seiko!
The only thing that I do not really like is the original dark blue strap. I will certainly exchange it in the near future to something light grey to further enhance the "cold elegance" look of the watch.

I knew I would have at least one once i discovered... and my Snowflake has been a great addition.. only watch I have worn since i go it May 11.. The Spring Drive is +1 second in 18 days... i am truly amazed! That sky blue dial is unreal in person was able...

I happen to agree with you as to the strap, by the way. Actually, I personally find Grand Seiko's (and Seiko's) straps and bracelets very disappointing in design and execution as compared to the watches themselves. I've immediately slapped a new strap on ...
