Some pictures of the Skyflake.

I have always been fascinated by the Spring Drive technology but it was finally  the release of the "Skyflake" that won me over.
Now,after a long wait (more than half a  year) my AD finally received the watch and I could pick it up this week.
It is in reality even more spectacular than on pictures.

Here some impressions:

Dial perfection has a name : Grand Seiko!

The only thing that I do not really like is the original dark blue strap. I will certainly exchange it in the near future to something light grey to further enhance the "cold elegance" look of the watch.

Thanks for looking,
Gerard

I happen to agree with you as to the strap, by the way. Actually, I personally find Grand Seiko's (and Seiko's) straps and bracelets very disappointing in design and execution as compared to the watches themselves. I've immediately slapped a new strap on ...

Congatulations, Gerard.
