Some Japanese wheels for the Grand Seiko SBGH035 today

Aug 06, 2018,11:44 AM

The first Lexus entering our family has been a 2006 GS450H, and it felt like from another planet compared to the 3 year old MB E-Class it replaced. And while this one is long gone and my company car policy is far from amenable to the brand my family has had very many since and when I visit I often get some time behind the wheel.

In many ways they don’t seem from another planet anymore, even if the attention to detail is still astounding. But on the other hand they‘ve made massive progress in terms of offering a sharp chassis and even the non-F-Sport RWD ones will offer lots of fun behind the wheel, with a perfectly controllable but nicely mobile back end. And a superbly subtle traction control smile

So I felt the SBGH035 only proper as a wrist companion for the drive. Another brand that could claim ‘Relentless Pursuit of Perfection’ to apply for itself smile

Have a great week!

Nice combination!
