Super cool! I bet it's a fun group!

Were you friendly? [nt]

Yup. I had a great conversation with myself about the old divers.

I told myself i better tidy up a little. Lol.

These are such fun watches to collect

I have a few of them myself. The 6105 and 6306 divers plus the Benrus Type II Class A are my favorites.

You are the consummate dive watch collector!

The bottom two with the grey Natos look interesting. I have nothing from the past but acquired these three modern pieces in the past week or so. Good fun and great value. cheers fernando ...

The two you mentioned are the small crown and big crown Seiko 62Mas from 1965.

The first professional dive watch from Seiko. The reissue that came out not long ago was the 50 year anniversary. Great value all round. I have a few moderns Seiko divers also. But my heart is with the vintage. Bill ...

I noticed the similarity with the 50th. anniversary but....

didn't realise there was a small and big crown version. Thanks for sharing Bill!

Here is the comparison.

Martin Sheen 6105 Seiko. ...

Super. I think I see two 6306s, and the two variations of the 6105.

I love the 6105, I have a 6105-8000 and have many times looked at or thought about adding the Captain Willard to the collection. It's very big on my wrist and so I also hesitate becisse im not sure I would wear it.

Very good eye yes the 6309 world wide version the 6306 Japan market. I will post a couple of pictures. You know your Seiko watches. Bravo.

The 6105-8000 is perfect feels more vintage in size and case shape than the captain willard. But you need them both.

I think I do need both, perhaps it will take finding a better Captian Willard than I've seen so far.

My true Seiko love is not the dove watches though, it's the 6155/6156. A very different animal (a smaller one for starts) but also very appealing.

What a GTG!!!

It belongs to my father’s vintage citizen quartz watch. I like to try different looks with the NATO straps/bracelets. I’m exploring the idea of getting a properly fitting beads of rice “a la” Doxa Sub (yes, yours inspired me) or a heavy milanese bracelet....

Your GTG of one table shot...

Would put many a larger GTG table shot to shame, Bill! Superb collection
