My Seiko Turtle modifications - many picturs, inspiration welcome

Feb 22, 2019,22:39 PM

This is a summary of my turtles so far, some are only slightly changed, others I have put quite some effort in. In Germany they say: A picture says more than a thousand words, so I will spare you of a lot of text - the experts in this forum will anyhow identify the donor watches of most of these.

I know that modding is not for everyone, and I would not do most of this to one of my more expensive watches, but for me it is part of the allure of Seiko, that this can be done. I have to say that a lot of the aftermarket parts are of very high quality. So, if you are into taking things apart, understanding mechanics and having your personal 1-of, you should try it out.

If you have further ideas of what I should try, please, please let me know.

Enjoy your weekend,

C.

Can you explain a little more about the process of making some of the changes.

Thanks for sharing these

I too have gone down the “hot rod mod my Seiko” route, but I only have a few of them left. You have been far more adventurous than I ever was. Cheers, Cazalea ...

Really nice! [nt]
