Every Spring Drive from Day One has had it.
Alternatively, perhaps it provides some undocumented technical function in the Spring Drive movement itself.

It mentions lowering the CG for a better wrist fit. I'm curious what the profile and case-back look like. Would need a third button on my shirt cuff to tuck that 16mm "thin" case! As always, thanks for the info! -John
