Yes it is, thank you!

If I had to be a Grand Seiko it had to be very Japanese. Finishing of the hands and hand’s edges and indices are amazing and helps legibility a lot with ss against the snow blue dial. Precision is quite stunning. Like all GS’s.

Thanks Bill- it’s really hard to catch with the iPhone

But it’s very nature, very Japanese, very zen that structure on the dial.

Congratulations!

Beautiful piece! This is the new “sky flake” right? My partner has her eye on it since I showed her some photos when it was first announced. Need to see one in the metal but not too many in London yet. BW, Chi Kai

Thanks it is surprisingly nice in the metal. And yes it’s the new Snowflake. Same structure as the first titanium Snowflake but with a blue hue.

Not to say really really nice. It could be an issue with the thickness for a smaller wrist. Almost 13 mm. It sits well though. It is light as well despite being ss. Maybe try a similar sized GS for her to see if it’s OK if you still can’t find it in the U...

Everything works so well

That looks amazing! [nt]

Thanks. It is indeed and very poetic that fresh fallen snow on a crisp day.

(You could also call it rice paper finish if you’re to the pragmatic side. )

I’m a sucker for beautiful dial

GS has grabbed my attention but I haven’t take the plunge yet.

And the best about this is that no one absolutely no one gets it out there.

How do you feel about fact that it’s a the Spring Drive movement?

Yes agree. Seiko in our context isn’t exactly a luxury brand.

I don’t have an issue with the spring drive. I am also seriously considering the Credor Eichi. It I need to see it and spend some time with it before jumping in so deep.

Credor Eishi. I get it Christian. This is amazing

Which one were you looking at ? The rose gold with blued hands? You could start toe dipping with a GS before taking that plunge. That was my plan. ...

Yes, this one exactly

I think it is a stunning piece in pictures but I need to “feel” it. I haven’t been able to see it yet. I want to dip my toes with something less fancy also but frankly I’m sometimes confused by all the models.
