I just went to the article and personally, I think this is very bad.

It is really an integrity issue if watches were previously defined for their purpose.

I admire GS but has been hesitant to add any because of their endless yearly celebrations and limited editions....I know I'm guilty because I like Omega limited editions.

However, to announce something and then change is, to me, cheating consumers.

Finally last month I took the leap of faith and was able to secure a SBGW275 as my very 1st GS and now this news?

What does “Exclusive” really means nowadays

 By: Cookies : October 6th, 2021-09:35
In the latest news via Monochrome, GS has released the US Exclusive Seasons Collection to selected countries worldwide. If a friend does this to me, it’s an instant loss of trust and perhaps the entire friendship too.

A new year, and a new release of 'limited', 'special' or 'exclusive' watches. It's getting sad and stale to be honest. Seen it all.

I hope to never be fooled by this “Exclusive” terminology anymore, unless it is truly a 50 piece limited edition. Even now, I’m worried about limited editions. What if they released a similar looking watch, with a slight tweak?

You don't have to worry, they definitely will!

 By: Fastwong : October 7th, 2021-01:07
It's funny but if the limited edition is successful, then it's likely there will be future similar releases stepping on it's toes but if the limited edition is a bust then it will be truly limited. 😉
