GS 5645 - a more common find, but charming nonetheless.
Nov 16, 2018,04:09 AM
A picture from a few weeks ago, on a sunnier day in the North East, of my early 70's 5645-7010. It's not "Special" like some of the others I have from the same time, and it's for sure one of the more commonly seen vintage GS from that period. However, it's charm is equal to any of those lower production or more rare pieces.
I'm still waiting for modern GS to put something into regular production (not a LE historical reference) that evokes this period of GS.

Extremely clean and minimal dial; stright, simple hands; round crystal; angular case. With of course the hi-beat inside. Almost the opposite in every way from mine from the same era. Cheers, Cazalea PS - I have to find another like yours ... ...

But that’s some of the charm of Seiko, then and now. Such a broad range. If one can’t find a Seiko they like I think there is something wrong!
Simply beautiful!
