Over the years, I spent way too much time...

Looking at the various models and I was mostly confused. The first decision was to have a diver and then it was about a combination of aesthetics, proportions and value (priced under $500). Somehow, I got attracted to the PADI and Save the Ocean models but I also always wanted a Pepsi style. Like I said in another post, this one happened to be on sale at Seiya and I just went for the opportunity to own my first Seiko and could not be happier. Well, except for the fact that I still need to deal with the bracelet sizing and/or strap choices.

Very nice, can’t go wrong with a Turtle, or a Padi Turtle.

But the micro adjustments in the clasp aren't enough. I have a 7.5" wrist.

I would say, go for a matching crafter blue silicone, check out strapcode website, and you”ll be happy. Only advice: Beware, I also wanted to have one Seiko and ended up with many many.

Ended up with the very same Seiko . . .

. . . last spring. Partial to its looks, and no complaints about performance. It's all about bang for the buck, in my opinion; I've paid more to service some of my vintage Omegas. Best, Art ...

Mine is more like 6½" . . .

. . . so I would expect PADI to be a very comfortable fit for you.

Yours ahead of me

I’ve only just started considering a Seiko or GS or Credor and you’re miles ahead of me. What made you decide for this particular model?
