Apart from the calendar sub-dial, this excellent watch with a wonderful enamel dial also counts time in another unusual way. Can you see it?

So quick! And, no, to the best of my knowledge, the seconds hand doesn't jump. I wonder why Seiko chose 1/4 second indices?

A 28,000 vph movement does 4 full oscillations per second (4Hz) [or 8 semi-oscillations per second]. I've seen chronographs with 5 divisions per second with a 28,800vph movement. Now that doesn't match! -John
