The 2000 reissue of the first quartz watch that started the quartz revolution/crisis. It's my first quartz too. I know others in this forum also have the original 35SQ as well as this reference. Does anyone have the SBXD002 though?

I was interested until I saw the price at $36k. As one of 50 hand-made watches, perhaps justified but my concern is really one of obsolescence and future serviceability. For now I will stick with this one: ...

While I’m a big fan of vintage Seiko and GS I have stayed away from Quartz for the most part (the exception being some Seiko Tunas). More to do with my knowing I’d likely let the watch sit in the drawer way too long once the battery needs replacement than...
