I am sure it is plexi glass. Not diver watch, but very prominent. Perhaps to tried to make it better water resistant? Ken ...  

SBGV011 SBGV011 I think this is interesting as the totally flat and flush crystal really accentuates the side angle of the bezel: SBGV019 ...
