Nice post, thanks. I bought my first watch from the Seiko universe in 2019: Grand Seiko SBGE249. I love it, and am surprised by how much the Spring Drive tech has affected me:

While another Spring Drive may not be in the cards anytime soon, I am actively looking at lower priced Seikos in order to continue exploring Seiko.

Now, if only Grand Seiko would be kind enough to release a Springdrive or Hi-Beat diver of 40mm in 2020, I would love them even better.

Well, I have two GS one is 39.5mm and the other is 41mm. Neither seem too big/thick. Both are amazing. Both show how GS is setting the bar for value, bang for the buck in a fine timepiece.

At lower price points Pressage is also unmatched. And below that?... how many people on this site have (for example) a PADI diver? To me Seiko is a very impressive company from top to bottom. Having said all that I do like divers and the GS divers are out...
