Went to my local AD today. Was looking for a spring drive with the blue dial but it was gone. Instead my eye caught this model which actually the 60th anniversary quartz movement. I was not in a market to buy a quartz watch but this one is rated at +-5 se...

I think you will find it a watch you reach for when you are in a hurry

No winding, no setting, no fiddling with the strap ... just snap it on and go. And it looks great. I’d do it but I have 4 GS quartz already ... 🤨 Cazalea

Thanks for the feedback Cazalea. Given you have 4 quartz I take it you like them ...

For me looking at a quartz felt like I was betraying my other automatic watches but I agree with they do it could become practical. How much wrist time in general do your 4 quarts watch get compared to the other traditional movement watch in your collecti...

Mine too! This is the 0ne I was looking for but since it was just announced they did not have it. It is a US only model and I live in Canada but sometime we can get these limited series.

Like you, I like the darker dial best. I think that is what you should go for!

The colors on that spring drive reference are so appealing. Yet… I'd worry that in too short a time I'd find it just a "pretty face." The farther down this road I go, the narrower

the margin, it seems, between "a little too pretty," and a watch I'd wear forever. Unless, of course, you're just out for fun. In that case, how about Undone's Sriacha ? (The rooster glows in the dark.) I mean… Let's get serious about Fu N , here! FH ...
