As you say, The bottom part is too empty, and the PR indicator ruined the otherwise clean dial. Not the best effort from Seiko I think.

You are correct...but its only by a few hundred dollars and if the justification for the (relatively) high price is the fact it's limited, the Anniversary Spring Drive is 700 v 1500 for the manual. In any case, you seem sold, so I hope you get it and enjo...
