Greetings from Down Under, Here’s a piece to commemorate Autumn here. I like the shade of blue (Tsukiyo) which means Moonlight. This is from the special 4 seasons collection released last year. Have a good week guys. Live honestly, sincerely and always be...

Thanks Cazalea

It's good to be back after 6 years of absence. I'll post more pictures about the effects of light on the colours of this dial. Sometimes it looks cobalt blue, sometimes it looks deep blue. I don't know how this happens, but I suspect it is reflecting the ...

...sorry, but was not wearing my Seiko (a Seiko 5 piece). But, could not help noticing your ink bottles, although I don't have the opportunity to have the limited edition range. Hope restrictions are easing off in your part of Oz as well. ...

We share the same hobby. I like the old word charm of writing in ink, and admiring the different properties of inks, E.g. drying times, shading, sheen etc. My favourite shade is some form of pinkish red, reminiscent of withering maple leaves. Yes I collec...

...and besides the properties of the pens. nibs and inks, the type of paper is interesting as well. Hard to find a good variety of writing paper these days. Semi-flex - that's something new for me. Will keep an eye out for it. Your reply inspired me to ge...

Ah, now that you’ve mentioned inks and Seiko Urushis

I like teal as well, in particular, the Kyanite Du Nepal ink from J. Herbin. It has a wonderful sparkle to it, and has variable shades. Here, it is juxtaposed with a Seiko you may like. It is from the presage range, with an urushi dial. The finishing is v...

Lovely pen - you could have written Murder on the Orient Express instead of "the fox..." :-)

I had the Marquise de Pampadour which, unfortunately, was stolen (I had an oblique nib installed). I would love to get my hands on Montblanc's Alexander the Great, but that is a heavy pen to write with. And of course, a lovely Seiko timepiece!! Ah, the ch...

Since we've apparently established a theme here...

Pen, ink, and watches perhaps go hand-in-hand, but it's spring here in Washington State, so the GS Four Seasons "Spring" seems appropriate, matched with J. Herbin "Terre de Feu" and the Aurora "Oceania" LE. ...

Very nice

It’s great to see we share 2 common hobbies. Great choice of pen, ink and GS. Wow!
